Conscious Education

Consciously educating is a practice and a daily commitment that involves learning to perceive, in the broadest possible way, what is happening. This commitment leads us to establish deep contact with the here and now, with what one is, feels and perceives. This process makes it necessary to take the attention to the outside (what the student thinks or does, but also what he feels or needs) and to the inside (what I do, think, feel and need). This is the key.

If we educate consciously, we connect with the feelings and the needs behind each being, so we will realize why each student behaves in a certain way. At Mandala International Academy, we know that consciousness can be integrated into all aspects of being, organically and naturally. Our classrooms are not the exception and these values are put into practice within our day to day.

Mandala International Academy is affiliated with the IPC (International Primary Certificate), the International Primary Curriculum for children from 5 to 11 years old. It is used by more than 730 schools in 92 countries around the world.

It is a complete, thematic and creative plan of studies, with a clear process and specific learning objectives for each subject. It also develops the international mentality and encourages personal learning.

Fundamental Values of the Mandala Studies Program

The goals of these subject include the knowledge, skills and comprehension of the children in relation to the subjects they are learning. There are learning goals of subjects for arts of the language, Maths, Science, Tics and informatics, technology, history, geography, music, physical education, art and society.

The personal goals of the Mandala study programme include the qualities and individual disposal that we think children will find essential in the XXI century. There are 8 personal goals in the IPC: investigation, recovering ability, morality, communication, consideratio, cooperation, respect and adaptability. The chanes to experience and practise these values are integrated in the learning tasks within each work unit.

The international learning goals are unique in our study programme and help young children to move ahead towards a national, international and intercultural perspective more sophisticated every time. Every part of the programme includes an aspect related to other countries, in order to help in the development of an "international way of thinking".

Teachers and Administrative

The Mandala human development plan integrates daily the training of our teacher and administrative personnel, through courses, workshops, techniques, integration trips, as well as a discipline in the culture of the school to turn them into coordinated and conscious human beings. In this way, each one of our elements perform a deep personal work, inner, in the goal of becoming a better version of themselves, and transmiting to the childre, through their personal experiences, their example and education.

School for Parents

Mandala International Academy has created a program that offers cutting-edge training to support parents in the education of their children. The goal is to promote conscious parenthood in conjunction with our values.

We offer new tools with topics such as: mindfulness, healthy nutrition, development of the emotional balance and the new conscious education.
